ByTheEast.com is an independent and emerging media organisation providing focused content on sustainability, economic diplomacy, energy, agri-food industries, cyber-security, cooperation… from a Middle Eastern point of view. As a collective, it aims to gather journalists, researchers, analysts, photographers and civil society players. Our website is live since June 2018.
We speak to the world from Beirut, Lebanon, with mobile correspondents covering news from Istanbul, Paris, Dubai, Tunis, Tripoli and São Paulo. Soon from Algiers and Cairo. We are committed to inform the public sphere, businesses, think tanks, NGOs and institutions with independent and unbiased stories, exclusive Q&A interviews, analysis, global and regional news.
We are mainly focused on MENA and GCC development, practices, cities and markets, with insights from African, Asian, European, American and Oceanian countries.
